Patience is not a word that one would ever associate with Val Grant. Determined does not even come close. Strong-willed is much better but not perfect. This is her story of how her refusal to accept traditional medical practices enabled her to return to a “normal” life. Being an accomplished artist in several mediums, as well as her extensive travels, has enabled her to think outside the box in all facets of life. It is this ability that allowed her to persevere in her endeavor to save her own life.
